One of the most recent fashion must-haves have been the above knuckle rings. You may also know these petite accessories as the midi rings or first knuckle rings, but it doesn't matter what you call them all that matters is that you have them! 

These rings have been described as 'a great way to add texture!'

I personally do not understand the hype over these accessories, yes the majority of them are pretty and nice to look at but I myself do not think I will be purchasing any anytime soon.

First knuckle rings and their background

Although they have only really become popular in the past couple of months, these dainty rings originated in the renaissance-era and they were wore as an indication of wealth. You can buy many different types and styles to match your personal preference. For example some can have different types of stones and carvings on them to make them visible and eye catching.
